2011 - Something to look out for

Hi there, just thought that I would start the blog with something to look forward to.

Tap-to-pay
Something that everyone should look out for is the new 'tap-to-pay' idea. What this will mean is that people could be using digital wallets everyday to pay for anything. For example, if you went to the supermarket to buy some food, all you would have to do was swipe your wallet against a machine that would automatically deduct the money you needed to pay. This will probably lead to oyster cards becoming unessential when travelling by train. Also, this will mean that people can just bump their phones or wallets together to exchange money. Life will become a lot quicker and cash will slowly become dated and unneeded. Below is a picture of a phone that can pass as an oyster card.
